The MUSIK IM AUGENBLICK project is the musical part of the Augenblick Festival, linked to its film programming from across the Rhine and extending the screenings offered in its cinemas. For his Carte Blanche, Rodolphe Burger wanted to give a stage to Marie Klock, who is decidedly not a Swiftie and from Moselle, and her rudimentary synthesizer. A stage also for Guido Minisky (co-founder of Acid Arab), a knowledgeable DJ who blends French music, acid house, chaâbi, techno, and raï without shame. But it is with the Vaudois percussionist Christophe Calpini and the jazzy double bassist Sarah Murcia that the composer from the Haut-Rhin region, founder of the cross-border festival C'est dans la Vallée, will share the stage at Karmen Camina. This versatile and recurring collaborator, a reference in electronic and atmospheric rock, author of an album of Kraftwerk covers and a captivating performer, will launch his melancholic and obsessive loops into the Alsatian night. The Carte Blanche to October Tone – a local festival and label – brings in the tinkerer and fervent defender of open source, Rachid Bowie, for a DJ set blending Western and Eastern influences. He himself invites the Leipsic duo Tilly Electronics, who will broadcast the energetic and dark glitter of their mix of EBM, Neue Deutsche Welle, disco, synth-pop, and much more. Kimyan Law will also be part of it. The Austro-Congolese artist composed the music for Austroschwarz (part of Augenblick's program this year!). In partnership with the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Austrian Consulate, with drums and samples, he will undoubtedly deliver a warm and organic concert.
