Bush.ida is a creative artist who brings passionate energy to the rap scene. They set new standards with a combination of tenderness and collaboration, challenging listeners to look deeper and question patriarchal structures through their expressive lyrics and powerful beats. Having grown up in the countryside, ida explored nature and the body early on. Experiences in demanding jobs and studies in education and sustainability highlighted the pervasive patriarchal influence. During the pandemic, 'VAGIDA' was created, a manifesto against the label 'weak sex' and a strong statement for all bodies that give birth. In 2023, they released the EP 'WILL KOMMEN IM BUSH', which quickly propelled ida into the German rap scene. The upcoming EP 'BUSH zu BI' (Fall 2024) is an ode to queerness and the multifaceted identity of ida. With at least five new tracks, Bush.ida invites listeners to 'Schalalalaraffenland,' a place where dominance and submission, passivity and activity converge. This EP is a proud declaration of ida's queerness and non-binary identity, taking listeners on a musical journey through strong beats and sharp rhymes directly into the heart of the Bush.
